She also ministered in Maryland and Indiana.

ORDER : Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet CURRENT ASSIGNMENT : Ministry of prayer and presence ADDRESS : Nazareth Living Center-Carondelet Manor, 6 Nazareth Lane, St. Louis, MO 63129 RECEPTION OF HABIT: March 19, 1946 MINISTRIES : Sister Christine taught for nearly 30 years before transitioning into religious edu- cation, and then a variety of other ministries. Be- fore retiring she served asa spiritual director for eight years. In the Diocese of Peoria, she taught at St. Cecilia School in Peoria from 1959 to 1963. COMMENTS : Sister Christine thanks God for all the gifts he has given her, including her ministry as a teacher. "I enjoyed teaching and being with the little children," she said. "I have forgotten their names, but think of them often and pray for them." "Pray, talk to God, ask God to help you make the deci- sion," is her advice to those discerning a vocation to conse- crated life. "Don't rush into a decision," she said. "Take time; get help from a spiritual director. Ask questions, get information that would be helpful. God blesses your discernment and in your decision."

In the Diocese of Peoria, she ministered as a teacher at Immaculate Heart of Mary School in Galesburg from 1958 to 1967, and as a teacher and principal there from 1969 to 1972. She would go on to teach at Costa Catholic School in Galesburg from 1972 to 1973.
